Population
Population figures for 2004: total population at the end of the year and average population by age groups in localities, regional councils, sub-districts and districts. Source of population growth in localities and sub-districts for 2002-2003: first settlement of new immigrants; internal immigration balance, births, deaths, total natural growth by population group and infant mortality.

Labour
Series for districts and sub-districts that are a product of the ICBS Labour Force Survey have been updated for 2003: civilian labour force characteristics; employed persons by gender and by status at work; employed persons by work district and economic branch; unemployed by gender and rate of unemployment. National quarterly series have been updated for 2/2005.

Incomes and wages
2003 wages and incomes data from the National Insurance Institute (BII) have been updated GEOBASE series for localities, regional councils, sub-districts and districts: average monthly wages of employee by gender and of a working family as well as incomes of self- employed as reported to the BII. Other updated series are number of employees and number of self employed in each geographic unit. Series of recipients of unemployment benefit have been closed due to frequent changes of the unemployment benefit rules.

Building and housing
All annual building and housing series have been updated for 2004 with correction of temporary 2003 figures: residential building by initial sector, by number of rooms; by number of dwelling and by area; non-residential building by economic branch and by initiator sector: dwellings approved in private construction. These series have been updated for localities, for sub-quarters in cities and for districts.

Transportation
Series of localities and of regional councils have been update for the years 2000, 2001 and 2002: level of motorization by type of vehicle; average age of private cars; rates of road accidents per thousand persons and per thousand vehicles.

Physical infrastructures
2002 and 2003 figures have been updated infrastructures series of localities and districts: construction of roads - begun and completion by area and by length units; drainage pipes and canalization - begun and completion; water pipes - installation begun and completion, total water production and water consumption by type of usage.
